YAC & TAG

Love books, music, writing, and movies? Want to talk about it? Then this group is for you! Youth Advisory Council Meeting (YAC) is for patrons in grades 3-8 and the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is for patrons in 8-12 grade who would like volunteer at the library. Choose books, movies, games, and music for your library. Assist in creating and presenting library programs. Have a voice at your library!  Meetings for YAC are every first Wednesday of the month from 3:30 until 4:15 and TAG is from 4-5 on the second Thursday of the month. Ask for an application today! 

Book Clubs

Alterative Reads

The third Thursday of every month is Alternative Reads for teens in grades 8-12. Join us to discuss your favorite books, suggest new ones and get great ideas at 4pm in the conference room. Snacks are served.

Middle Books

On the third Wednesday of every month at 3:30, readers in grades 4-7 will meet to discuss their favorite books.

Teen Tech Group

On the first Thursday of every month in the conference room, teens in grades 7 and up, are encouraged to join our tech group where we will create and use the latest in technology. This month, create mini films to promote services at the library. Next month learn how to Scratch, the programming language for everyone. No registration required but is limited to the first 15 teens on a first-come, first-served basis.

Teen Movie Night

The first Monday night of the month is Teen Movie Night at 6pm in the community room for ages 13 and up. Join us for popcorn and a fun movie. Check the bulletin boards for this month's movie.

Cool Games & Crafts

Monday through Friday at 3:30 to 4:30 and all day Saturday, for ages 8 and up. Board games will be available for afterschool fun and occasional crafts or activities offered.

Wii Wednesday

Every other Wednesday is Wii Wednesday. Sign up that day to play great games 3:30 –4:30 in the Teen Outpost.
